The blogger schedule thing worked for me. I sat there and watched it. When I refreshed my page, my new post was up.

I hate it when stuff doesn't work but not as much as I hate it when I search for help and someone says, "Well, it works for me." What you want a cookie or something? That's not even remotely helpful.
Some of those verification words are long. Since you can't copy and paste them why do they make them so difficult to read?
