YES!!!!!

Yes!!! Another win. Once again my vote has netted the desired result. Another win. I am sure folk will blog into infinity about this election and it's historic nature. So I won't bore you.

I ain't saying it was a win for women. Sarah Palin provided that.

I ain't saying it was a win for black folk (or biracial folk or cannibalasians (or whatever Tiger Woods calls himself.)). Barack Obama did that.

This one is a win FOR ME!!!

Why you ask? Damn good question!

Because I have never prospered under a Republican administration. My own personal economy usually goes into a severe recession if not a depression. Remember I have only seen ONE Democratic administration as an adult. And boy did I prosper! And things just happen to be looking up even before the results of the election were announced. Y'ALL FEEL ME?

So I win! I hope to continuing that win for at least the next four years!

Peace!!!

On the black hand side...

I think you said it BEST.

"This one is a win FOR ME!!!"

Really though.

2nd 68, it is a win for me too. I've accomplished much in my lifetime, but my dreams that have been floating around in my head and on paper just went from black and white to BOLD technicolor. I know NOW that I can do anything for real, no matter how lofty it may be.

I feel you, Bruh... I truly do.

@ Aretha - Yes it does. It is still sinking in. All of it. It may take a couple of days before it sinks in completely.

@ Ladylee - You just said it best too. Out of the mind and into the world at large! I have seen many tears shed since 11:00 p.m. e.s.t. on November 4 2008. And I feel and understand each one of them.

@ Ms. B. - Yes indeed. It is such a historic (yet positive) date that folk should refer to it by the number. Eleven-four Eleven-oh-four? Truly this feels like an anti 9/11 because I have hope that things that started then will finally be turned in another direction.

@ Diva - Yeah just cause I got white man skin(like), I do got black man soul, and lips and parents...
But you know I aim to please.

@ Southern - Don't stop smiling. It is so pretty, I couldn't advocate stopping. I do think that things are gonna get better. I think that because of the election results, things are already better we just weren't prepared to believe it because we been black too long.

Sarah Palin made me want to hurl every time I saw her face or heard her voice. Such ignorance should be illegal.

@ Queen of my Extra Half-yard of Fabric - Are you really talking about her of the party who put her up there?
