Why is it that the people who scream the loudest about their rights seem to not be concerned about others rights all that much?
Happy Birthday #54 to ME!

This is a collection of random rants. I got sh*t on my mind and it needs flushing on occasion. So I am lighting the candle and unfolding my newspaper. Don't bother knocking, I'll be out when I am done...

Because people are selfish--that's why. I was raised to "do unto others as I would have them do unto me", but most people today could give two craps about someone else UNLESS it benifits themselves.
A year ago (maybe even two), the Rev Al Sharpton had a FREE concert with Foxxy Brown and other Dlister performers at the Apollo theatre. Black people turned out in big numbers for the FREE concert. What the Rev neglected to say was that it was free to get in, but you had to pay to leave...aint that something?!
He literally held those people hostage until that collection plate was filled with what he considered enough money. I know he seems like he does a lot for folks but Al is just a selfish selfish man.
Are you part of the Thanksgiving Club????
@ Andrew:
The Thanksgiving Club? Please elaborate further...
@ Yazmar:
Not a problem, and thank you too. Since I enjoyed your commentary so much, I had to see what you have going too.
@ Diva:
Pay to leave? Are you serious? That wobbles the mind.
I wonder if we as a society will turn the corner on self interest and add a little "duty to your fellow man" into the mix. I try a little every day even though it seems a thankless job. But just maybe somebody is paying attention even when I don't think they are.
